KAOS has announced that at Gamestop and EB Games, if you pre-order Frontlines:Fuel of War you will get a DEMO disk. The demo contains a single player mission, an official trailer, the soundtrack, a "Making Of" video, and Xbox 360 gamer pics and themes., and is available for only the Xbox 360.

Xbox 360 Demo Disc contents:

• Game Demo: The single-player demo features an intense mission to fight toward a Red Star tank factory in Kazakhstan. Utilize next generation weapons, drones, and the open world environment to destroy the Russian air defense system and air drop armor support.

Available early next year on the 360, PS3 and PC, Frontlines is, at it's heart, a shooter set in a wartime scenario. We had a chance to sit down with the first three levels of the game (which were quite hefty in size), and can safely say that this is going to be one to keep an eye on. Set twenty years into the future, two sides are fighting in a war to take control of the world and it's resources. The Western Coalition (the US and the European Union), and the Red Star Alliance (the Russians and Chinese). The campaign does a good job of setting the tone of the game world, linking actual past events to the events in the future to help explain the situation you're going to face as you play through the game.  Frontlines Warfare talks with Matthew Harwood, Audio Director from Kaos Studios. He answer questions about the Audio elements in Frontlines: Fuel of War. And we also get a sample of the music from Frontlines: Fuel of War.

We have heard that Frontlines: Fuel of War will feature delayed sounds of explosions, gun fire, etc. Can you go more in-depth as to what is expected?

Delay and distance sounds or Level of Detail (L.O.D.) is what I am most excited about with the sound in our game. It’s something that no other game is doing to this extent. The delay of gun fire and explosions is simple. When you see the flash of an explosion in the distance you will not hear it right away. There is a delay based on distance, the farther away the longer the delay. We originally did the math at 769mph or 1128ft/s (the speed of sound). You would be surprised how long of a delay at such short distances this math provides. So we speed up the delay system so you can hear the audio sooner and get the feedback, it is definitely noticeable and very fun. Read The Full Interview...
