  If you live in the New York area and have never played Frontlines: Fuel of War, Kaos Studios is having a focus test this weekend.

We are running focus groups THIS WEEKEND and need testers!

Participants will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and will receive two THQ games as thanks for their time.

They must have at least some console (360) and FPS experience and must not have played the game before (sorry).

If you know someone who might be interested, please have them email focusgroup@kaosstudios.com and we will send them an application.

Participants MUST be 18 years or older.

CES '08: Frontlines: Fuel of War Single-Player Hands-On

Gamespot has released a new hands on article. They play the singleplayer map called Mountain King. Which is the sixth mission in the game's campaign.


Mountain King is the sixth mission in the game's campaign, and so it's pretty intense. The facility, which is sort of like a giant version of Cheyenne Mountain, is full of generator rooms, control centers, and large caverns, all swarming with bad guys. You've got a pistol, grenades, and an assault rifle, as well as a missile launcher which can be used against hardened positions, like heavy machine gun posts. The real neat toys, though, are the drones that you can employ. A gun drone is like a radio control tank, and you can use it to dart into heavy fields of fire and pick off bad guys from a position of relative safety. Or the helicopter drone is really useful in the multi-level missile silo, as you can fly it remotely up the shaft and use rockets to wipe out grunts hiding behind cover.Full Story...
