KAOS Mitch explains how they go baout fixing problems with the game. It will help those out there that have no idea what it takes to find and fix problems with Forntlines: fuel of War.

Our Troubleshooting Process
Just so y'all understand a little better what is happening process-wise...

* Issue is reported on the forums
* I put it in a spreadsheet of issues to be looked at
* QA verifies and tries to repro it
* Programmers/designers propose solutions
* Solutions tested
* Information and/or patches or hotfixes are released

This is somewhat simplified but is the basic way tech issues are looked at.

We also get a lot of information from THQ Support as well and are using them as a great resource. They have also made some suggestions on how to improve our process that we are going to be implementing as well.

There were A LOT of posts made after the hotfix (and server updates on the Xbox) so it takes time to comb through everything and figure out next steps, but we are hard at work on it. I can't speak for anyone else but I usually put in about 10 hours at the office and am on the forums and email constantly including before and after work and on weekends. People are working hard and I'll try and get you more specific information soon as I can.

So as you can see it is a very involved process. That is why it takes a while to get patches out. Hopefully this will settlle people down that keep asking "When Will The Next Patch Be Out."

Ok, well i got Frontlines Fuel of War as a present and i put it in my DVD drive and it doesn't do anything. I go downstairs and put it in my brothers computer and it works fine. I put the number 2 disk in my drive and it works fine, and same with my brothers. I have the latest copy of DirecX 9.0 and all the requirements. My brother got it somehow to download i don't know how but now when it tries to read the disk to play the game it won't let me and said there is no disk in the drive when there is. Any suggestions on what to do???

I try to open the game after I installed it and it just crashes as soon as I open it....any ideas?

When I click play from the intallation screen, the loading screen appears, and is followed by "Frontlines Fuel of War has stopped working: . check online for a solution and close program . close the program" i just got this game, and it doesn't work...does anyone know a solution to this?

i installed the game onto my computer and i have the right disck in by the way the whole screen goes black andthen it clears and goes black in a black triangle in the right middle of my screen and then a box pops up saying flfow is not responding and also says it will tell me when updates to fix it are available but it has never come through before pleaseeeee helpppppppp

I am having asimilar problem. When i put in the second disk it is not being reconised, I even took the first copy back to the store as thought may have been the disk, but the samething is happening with the new one. Where do I find the answer please

Reply to all those saying about the discs! You put the first one in and then click play and then when the message comes up saying about the wrong disc, take the first one out and put the second in and click "Retry" then it should work

hi, i just got the games and installed most of it and the drive says to put in the oringinal copy of the game and i tryed disk 2 and it sais its the wrong disk any help?

First disc loads fine, put second disc in and it sit there spinning while the box says "disc not reponding". I have a P4 3.0 duo core 8600 GTS 2gigs of ram and all drivers have been updated to try to run this $$72.00 paper weight! Frustrated after two night of trying,.......YOU BET!!! I have found it is very difficult to "patch" a BRAND NEW game YOU CAN"T INSTALL!!!!!!!
